Ignore the abundant wonkitude prz. I'm sorta trying to train myself off of eraser-reliance again. ADVENTURE.
In my brainspace Harlan is sort of the metaphorical good twin of Dingo
. Where Dingo is insecure and confused and trapped in a decidedly morbid world, Harlan is pretty secure in his identity, exceedingly laid-back and generally a very open person. I've developed a good bit of his background and even some of his future but he doesn't belong to any story or anything, just kinda exists in my brain. A good one to have around.Ye Olde History of Harlan
He was actually created as a sort of a friendly joke boyfriend for my chum Meghann
in 2003(ish?) because she was single at the time and not enjoying it. Nowadays Meghann is MARRIED (they grow up so fast!).
Harlan's last name was stolen directly from My other Megan friend
, to whom I distinctly remember vowing that I would utilize it for a character when I found the right one.
The first time I drew Harlan he had pointy ears and was dressed like someone out of FRUiTS. Obviously things have been toned way down since then, though he still tends to stand out in a crowd.
Needlessly huge Ganesha because a) I like Ganesha and b) I was running out of space-fillers.All right 2 DÜ 2DAY:
